Jan Kyo is an interdisciplinary visual artist based in Berlin, Germany. Working across painting, drawing, and digital media, he explores the intersection of physical presence and digital deconstruction. Through observation and fragmentation, his work examines how images shape perception, moving within the fluid boundaries between reality and projection.

Jan Kyo, Interdisciplinary Artist and Painter: This conceptual portrait reflects my ongoing evolution from my earlier practice as Jan Kilian Böttcher / Boettcher (painter and draftsman) to my current work as Jan Kyo. It serves as a visual exploration of identity, documentation, and the shifting conditions of perception in the digital age.
